Abstract

The video shows the Second Annual Social Justice and Human Rights Award Dinner (Honoring Peter Torigian, late Mayor of Peabody and longtime Holocaust Center supporter, and Congressman John Tierney) held at the Hyatt Harborside, Boston. It includes a survey of the cocktail reception preceding the dinner (showing check-in, various people in attendance, refreshments, people outside, the harbor view, etc.), a view of the dining room, and the first part of the tribute: Welcome by Harriet Tarnor Wacks (Director, Holocaust Center), Award Presentation for Congressman Tierney by John Blodgett (District Attorney) to Patrice Tierney (wife of Congressman Tierney), Acceptance Speech by Patrice Tierney, Introduction by Dr. Robert McAndrews (President, Holocaust Center), Keynote Presentation by Victoria Block, Blessing by Rabbi David Klatzker followed by mealtime.
