dc.description.abstractThe Grand Turk Tavern opened in 1990 and operated out of the c. 1820 Captain William Lane House at 110 Derby Street, across from The House of the Seven Gables. It was named for a ship built by Enos Briggs in 1791 at Derby Wharf. The restaurant closed in 1996 and the building was converted into a private home.
