    Abstract
Current research has shown that adolescents with developmental disabilities are at increased risk of sexual abuse, exploitation, pregnancy, and transmitted infections compared to the general population. It is within the scope of practice for occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) to educate and address sexuality with clients managing developmental disability. This study focuses both on the views and participation level of occupational therapy practitioners regarding comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). A quantitative, descriptive survey will be distributed online. Participants will be recruited electronically via national and local professional organizations and through social media networks. This survey will provide data to better understand the perspectives of OTPs with CSE and the barriers to participating in its delivery.
