Then located at 59 Lafayette St, the address is now 175 Lafayette St. due to street renumbering. The house was destroyed by the Great Salem Fire of 1914; its site is currently occupied by a gas station. Published by photographers J.W. & J.S. Moulton, at 256 Essex Street, Salem, Mass., in "American Views," c. 1873-76.
