Abstract
Syllabus for "International Business," a Spring 2021 undergraduate Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) course taught by by Chaerin Yun (Management) at Salem State University. The SSU course collaborated with a course taught at Hanyang University ERICA Campus, College of Business and Economics in Ansan, South Korea. There were 49 students in the SSU course and 30 students in the partner course. Digital tools used in collaborative work included Google Docs.
Course Description
This course is a survey of the legal and cultural environment of global business; the international financial system; management of global network; personnel and labor relations; international marketing; international economics, trade, and finance; the multinational enterprise; and supranational organizations. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisites: BUS170, MGT332, MKT241N.
