Abstract
The Holocaust Center of the North Shore Jewish Federation commemorates Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a program held at Higgins Middle School, Peabody, Massachusetts. Starting with the Survivors' Candlelighting Ceremony, the video shows the reading of the Yorn HaShoah Poem by Sonia Schreiber Weitz, Welcome by Rabbi Samuel S. Kenner, Greetings by Dr. Edward Braun, Greetings by Peabody Mayor Peter Torigian, Interfaith Service (Cantor Sam Pessaroff, Temple Ner Tamid, Peabody; Father. Charles Hughes, St. Thomas of Villanova, Wilmington; Reverend Rayann Burnham Cummings, First Federated Church, Beverly; Rabbi Arthur Nemitoff; Temple Beth Shalom, Peabody), keynote speaker DAVID S. WYMAN, Center Service Awatd presented by Harriet Tarnor Wacks, and the singing of the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Hatikvah' in unison to close. Musical Rendition by Gordon College Women's Choir under the direction of Elizabeth White.
