Abstract
SV328 — Nelson Dionne Collection. Street view of a home and a group of people, ostensibly the residents, turned to the side of or with their back toward the camera. Published by John S. Moulton, Salem, Mass, c. 1872. Per Stephen P. Hall on the Salem History Exchange: "I would suggest the photo posted was taken circa 1869 +/- three years... I think this was a photo of someone's family and home, that 'didn't make the cut,' and the client declined to buy prints of it, because of the back and side views of the subjects... Probably not a view of Salem, MA."
